Any recommended Lock on grips for the Varg?

Luckily, the throttle tube on the Varg is longer than on the Alta. It is harder to get grip glue in the electronic part of it. I used to cut rubber donuts out of old inner tubes. I would live them over the throttle tube, then glue the grip on, then cut them off. The open end of more quickly. I...

Any recommended Lock on grips for the Varg?

I left my bike in the Arizona sun for 20 minutes and the stock grips loosened up and came off with no tools. I do not think WD40 would hurt anything. But be careful not to get the grip glue anywhere it shouldn't be. You won't be able to remove it because the throttle cannot/shouldn't be...

    Battery price

WOW! Battery I remember Anton Wass didn't believe anyone would want to buy a spare battery because of its price. And now I am betting Stark wishes they had designed a bike with a quick-swappable battery.

the fork has snap rings which apparently mate to the fork guards

Yeah, these steel rings are there to keep your anodized aluminum fork legs pretty and shiny.

Eddie Karlsson Stark VARG GoPro | Battle of Veklings Extreme Enduro

Re-posting this great video here. There is a forum discussion about this already here. His battery lasted 2.5 hours of racing, which is almost unbelievable! I am equally impressed that his GoPro also lasted just as long.

    Another First Place Win

Congrats on the great engineering and winning results!!! Our southwestern WORCS endurance racing series have a 1-hour race format for amateurs and a 2.5-hour race format for the pros. My Alta is faster and easier to race than ICE bikes, it just doesn't last the entire race. But with small...

Stark Electric Bikes needed for 'Arctic Sea Ice Monitoring Terminal Deployment' programme.

Christini once made an AWD bicycle for some arctic explorer/tourist. One might think an electric AWD is a way to go, but I think a mechanical AWD would have more traction at low speeds, like in a crawl mode.

Power station? Eco Flow or Anker SOLIX F3800

This is normal, unfortunately. If the Anker unit is plugged into 110V, you cannot get 240V out of it. Unplug it first, then you will get 240V, and then you will be able to charge your Varg/Redshift/etc. with 240V. It is a shortcoming of this thing, it is sorta described in a very coded language...

    Varg suspension

Race Tech, MX Tech, and most dirt bike suspension shops should have springs for the Varg KYB, which is the same as Yamaha's KYB. Does anyone know the Varg's correct fork spring length though? The Yamana's forks (and probably springs too) changed by 5mm at least once in the last 10 years.

EV Charge Station at the Track

Good news. I like it! Technically, that would be called a "Level 1 EV Charger". A 240V power outlet is considered "Level 2".

Motion Pro Clicker adjusters and bleeders

I like it! I should be playing with clickers more often. I used to carry a small screwdriver stuck into the handlebar pad. But I still didn't adjust the clickers often enough. These large toll-free adjusters are just begging to be spun! Do they have something for the bottom rebound adjuster...

Power station? Eco Flow or Anker SOLIX F3800

These are two units, 132 lbs on wheels and 72 lbs without wheels. If I find a good place for it in my van, I may never have to remove it. I will charge it when the van is parked and plugged in, and it will charge the bike when I am at the track. It's like a battery in a Tesla. It stays in the car.

Power station? Eco Flow or Anker SOLIX F3800

WOW! I just bought it! Thank you, Don!!! I also added a 400W portable solar panel for $300. A sweet deal! I was actually eyeing this package yesterday and called Anker. They are a Chinese company (hard to tell), but they have sales offices and warehouses all over the world. Anker Solix F3800...
