MXR to SM
I converted a SM to MX . I swapped 2021 KTM SX fork legs to the SM. Axles are different (SM axle bigger diameter), center to fork legs and brake caliper mount different, Alta fork clamps are wider so KTM wheel needed spacers. SM forks (and shock) are shorter (less travel) and the damping is different than MX, much stiffer than what works on dirt so you will feel a very harsh fork on dirt with SM valving. FYI: the later MXR shock won't swap to the SM.

Can anyone who's done the conversion or knows for sure if this caliper adapter bracket will work for the Alta SuperMoto wheels front rotor?
I believe the 2009-Current KTM is the right adapter, just wanted to confirm. Thanks!

I can’t speak to that specific bracket, but I converter two EXR’s to SM with the Warp-9 Caliper Bracket #7 and it work perfectly with the Alta SM wheels. I can’t find the bracket on their website but they have it available if you call.
